Tried Yummy House China Bistro today and decided to go with a few dim sum dishes: har gow (shrimp dumplings), siu mai (pork and shrimp dumplings), glazed honey BBQ bun, Hong Kong roasted duck, and an egg tart. My favorite was definitely the glazed honey BBQ bun. It had a delicious sweet and savory flavor and really stood out to me. Unfortunately, I found some of the other dishes a little lacking in flavor, especially the shrimp dumplings and the egg tart. The roasted duck and siu mai were okay, but overall I think I was looking for more seasoning and stronger flavors. It made me wonder if dim sum is simply not my favorite type of Chinese food, since I tend to enjoy dishes with bolder, more pronounced flavors. The restaurant per se was nice, a little noisy, but we were still able to talk and enjoy. We also order a jasmine tea that never came. 🥲 I saw some other dishes going to the tables near me, and they looked delicious. Maybe I just didn’t select the right ones? I don’t know.

Oh my goodness! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I am extremely picky on my Chinese food & I thought I’d never find a good one again because the one I loved moved over in Orlando. BUT THIS PLACE is phenomenal and has surpassed that childhood spot a 1000x over. Definitely Michelin worthy. 💕

We had a party of 5 for dinner. We have eaten there before. The food was excellent then, and it was excellent this time also. The atmosphere is very nice, the place is clean, and the staff is always very nice. Luis, our server is always excellent. The food is prepared and presented very well, using quality ingredients (you can taste that everything is fresh) and it is delicious. It is definitely a step above normal, its authentic. Definitely a must try.

My friend and I went went here for a lunch. The place is well-lit, spacious and welcoming. We had high expectations as it is a Michelin recommended restaurant. We ordered what felt like a ton of food. They have a vast variety of dimsums and their entree section is also quite nice. However they don’t have clearly labeled vegan dishes, especially in the dimsum menu. Most of their dimsum/bao options were with meat or seafood which was disappointing especially because we ordered two servings of their chive pancake assuming it would be vegan but as I started having it, there was shrimp inside it. While my entree was nice, I never received the rice I ordered with it (it never came with one). Their boba teas are nice although very sweet, they come in really tall glasses, and are very low priced. Almost all of their menu is pretty reasonably priced and perhaps designed to have you order more and more! I wish we received better service but it took really long for our food to come out and there weren’t many servers on the floor either. We also had to battle a couple flies that were constantly trying to get into our food.

I had to see what the Michelin Recommendation and all the buzz was about. And Yummy House lived up to the hype! I wouldn’t even compare it to your neighborhood “China.” Every dish bursts with freshness and intense flavors. Start w the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and savor the extra crispies on your other dishes(or take it home as we did). The Yummy Spicy Chicken is a must have (and it is built to share). The Salt and Pepper Pork Chops and the Honey Walnut Shrimp were also a refreshing new Chinese experience and large portioned for family style dining.
